   Welcome to my world of soft landscapes, award-winning books, and my original pattern designs.

 

As far back as I can remember, things of nature would take my breath away; beautiful golden sunsets; early morning mist surrounding bright blue morning glories; puffy white clouds against the perfect shade of blue sky; the deep green shade of the leaves dancing in the trees on a lovely summer afternoon; and delicate pink roses. That is my passion as an artist, to capture moments of time... moments of peace and tranquility that might even stir up a cherished memory or two. 

 

I have a passion for all things magical and creative! My creative ability began at a young age and is still evident today not only in my children’s stories and illustrations, but with my fine art paintings, unique pattern designs, and costume designs. My great love and appreciation for beautifully printed fabrics inspired the creation of my unique pattern designs, as well as my 3d miniature creations consisting of ballerina dresses with tiny sculptured ballet slippers and lovely party dresses with matching hats, and tiny adorable hat boxes! My favorite creation is a stone fairy house filled with whimsical furniture made from cinnamon sticks, moss, feathers and beads. Just like Tinkerbell... I can take any found item and use it to fix something or... transform it into a treasure!

I am an award-winning author & illustrator of children’s books that are beautifully illustrated in soft watercolors that

reflect my love and appreciation of Beatrix Potter. Each inspirational story is subtly woven around a positive and encouraging message instilling hope, gratitude and wholesome values into the minds and hearts of little ones. My desire is not only to provide the child with an entertaining story, but to offer the idea of how they, too, can feel connected to the magical and beautiful universe around them.
